In German, we have a somewhat old-timey / regional word for orange, āApfelsineā, which was derived from āapple of Chinaā.
Admittedly, this was in the time period where virtually every fruit was called āappleā, but still funny that you canāt compare them in English, when weāve got it in our vocabulary, that itās like an apple, but Chineseā¦
