Last January, the higher-seeded Jacksonville Jaguars were at home to face the Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round, and Romo appeared on the pregame show. When the camera found him, he said of the Jaguars, “I’m telling you, they can win this game today.” The remark drew almost immediate scorn on social media for its vacuity because, of course, the higher seed with home-field advantage team could win.

This is utter horseshit on many levels. There are so many examples in the NFL playoffs where the higher seeded team that has home field advantage is the lesser team. The AFC South has a history of being a mess so thinking Buffalo is the stronger team in that game is the same thing everyone else was thinking.

Much noise about how Tampa was division champs four years in a row. BFD that division is the comic joke division.
