Nevis is now the setting for Jeffers' new short film, "Pan Gyul." Over the course of six days, Jeffers and a production team shot the 15-minute coming-of-age story on the island. The film centers on Roshan, a teenage girl who wants to connect with her father, a well-respected steel pan musician. In the film, Jeffers stars as Mrs. Kathleen Quailey, Roshan’s mother.
