I always ask people how itās confusing, and what will they be confused about.
Almost nobody around me wants to admit the real reason, itās always floundering and waffling about various things as they grasp at straws to say anything but āI am homophobic and narrow minded and donāt want a gay childā
Itās obvious if anyone who isnāt a homophobe thinks about it for half a second. Queer people have existed, literally, forever throughout humanity. We have evidence of it basically throughout all of our history (that we know of).
Which means, I have grown up around queer people, my parents have grown up around queer people, and so on, forever. And YET, none of us are āconfusedā.
But for some reason THESE kids will be confused. THESE kidsā developing sexuality is so fragile that the concept of a gay couple existing will immediately convince them that they MUST be gay, and in no way shape or form would they have felt that way otherwise.
