Anyone who is aware of how sharks hunt will immediately know the joke is absurd. Anyone who knows that things dilute in water would know that you wouldn’t see a three mile visual trail of ketchup, so that is clearly absurd. Anyone who knows any of these three things should know this particular comic’s punchline is based on absurdist humor.
How is that the joke? Nothing indicates they’re going off of anything other than visuals.
