    Before sentencing:

He told the judge that he wished he’d never crossed into a restricted area on Jan. 6, and he apologized to the officer whose shield he took. “There is no place in my future for groups or politics whatsoever,” he said.

After the judge gave him half the sentence prosecutors wanted:

But later, as he left the courtroom, he raised a fist and said, “Trump won!”

Why the fuck are judges falling for this shit?

So can’t the judge call him back the courtroom and ask the seditious traitor to elaborate on his statement?

I believe once the gavel is struck the proceedings have concluded. He’d have to commit another crime for anything like that.

It’s called contempt of court. How have you never heard of it before now?

Perhaps where you live but not in America where this takes place.

              https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contempt_of_court

Contempt of court, often referred to simply as “contempt”, is the crime of being disobedient to or disrespectful toward a court of law and its officers in the form of behavior that opposes or defies the authority, justice, and dignity of the court.

He yelled nonsense in a courtroom in the presence of a judge, right?

Lots of defendants do dumb shit immediately after sentencing…

Very very few get additional punishment for words, like you know murderers routinely shout vile things at their victims families while being taken out after sentencing right?

They don’t even get contempt charges.

While I don’t think explaining again will work, I know the block button does.

Be nicer and people may try longer to help you understand.
