after she grabbed a pot of hot water off of her stove. Massey ducked behind her kitchen counter before Grayson shot her in the face.
What a misleading sentence! She was instructed by the officers to remove the pot from the stove. Then in full view of the officers got on her knees with her hands up before she was murdered.
This phrasing makes it sound like she did something dangerous and then dived for cover which is not remotely true.
Even what you posted is misleading too. She got in her knees after the officer pulled out his gun and aimed it at her for doing exactly what the officer agreed for her to do.
How did this guy get a job as a police enforcer? Are there no standards or requirements? How did he pass a background check?
