Several metro Atlanta sheriff’s agencies have stepped up their presence in Jewish and Muslim communities in the wake of this weekend’s surprise attacks by Hamas on Israel.

Metro Atlanta sheriffs affirmed their commitment Tuesday to increasing police presence at local Jewish and Muslim worship centers following the weekend’s bloodshed in Gaza.
