First-run theatrical venues are toast if audiences need to wait, at most, 30 days to watch movies on streaming. That said, with the experience that AMC has turned movie-going into (cramming ads down audience’s throats), it’s no wonder people are staying home. If you have a local movie house that doesn’t show ads, support them instead.
