When we boycotting Dollar General?
You should have been from the start. Dollar stores are straight up cancer to poor communities.
My wife, usually apolitical as long as I’ve known her, has boycotted Target her favorite store. We used to go shopping at night when nothing was going on. Now, we save money and just hang out at the house. Fuck Target.
I forgot to start shopping at Target. Honestly, what do they carry that every other department store doesn’t?
Oddly the one in my town is a lot cheaper for things like Nature’s Bakery bars than any other grocery store around. Still, stopped going there already and won’t go back until they fix their shit.
They have a lot of board games (and special versions of popular ones) that are literally exclusively only sold at Target.
Some people might shop there because it’s closer than Walmart. Also I’m not sure what a 40 day “boycott” will do to sales.
Haven’t gone there in years, but now I’m not gonna go even harder.
