Signal is pretty good. It takes a special kind of stupid to use Signal and still end up accidentally leaking everything.

Despite the media reports, the issue is not the journalist (I suspect he was invited on purpose to expose this).

The problem is that our highest level government officials use signal on their insecure private phones to discuss all kinds of security issues to avoid Federal Records Act and likely everything they discuss is available to foreign governments.

      This explains it better: https://youtu.be/MERwAvesX9o

Yeah, nobody “broke” signal to make this happen. What they did was the equivalent of grabbing a random person from a White House tour group and bringing them into a SCIF, then discussing classified information.

I have this weird feeling Bannon was responsible. He’s leaked stuff in the past.

By using Signal, everyone has a chance to be randomly included in a top secret US military planning meeting.

If you feel like you can, donate to Signal, it’s the most standup privacy app around. Honestly I’m glad for all this signalgate exposure as I dream of my friends finally getting off Meta and WhatsApp.

Me who has convinced my family to talk over signal (we live in different countries), 3 weeks ago, and having my brother saying me during a call with my mother: why are you talking over this app? Are you guys selling drugs? 😂
