Didn’t you hear Schumer? The function of the Democratic Party is to sheepdog the left into supporting genocide. Democrats aren’t even trying acting as an opposition and he voted to keep Trump’s government open.

That’s the Democratic Party. Always had been.

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

A single democrat? It’s the whole fucking party! He’s their leader and he’s telling us what the party exists to do.

Yup and everything that’s going wrong with the world his Schumers fault because of it.

Find out next week which democrat Lemmy is going to pin everything on instead of banding together to defeat the actual problem!

It’s just His Turn to be in charge, he’s not special. If a different Democrat was the leader they’d behave the exact same way.

The machine operates the same no matter who pulls it’s levers. He just said the quiet part out loud.

As a complete aside (not referring to Democrats etc) I’m pretty sure pulling levers affects how a machine operates.

Okay, but if I pull a lever it will do the same thing as if Chuck Shuemer pulled the lever.

To be clear, I guess this saying applies more to production machinery rather than more complex machines like cranes with a ton of different levers. The lever on a welding press does one thing and you can’t make it do something else by pulling the lever. A crane can do a ton of stuff because it has lots of levers that do different things - you can even break the machine just by pulling the levers wrong.

So, maybe the saying isn’t as pithy as I thought.

On reading your original comment I realised you are right. It doesn’t matter who pulls the lever.
I’m just being a bit oversensitive about dangerous operation of machinery.

They’re saying Schumer is making the decisions for everyone, and if Schumer just changed his vote and made better decisions everything would have been better for the whole party. Is that not correct?

Awesome. Keep throwing that argument out there instead of acknowledging that the party in power is proud they are forcibly detaining legal immigrants and boasting about getting more

Oh, and the president is using his executive powers to say it’s a national emergency what these legal immigrants were saying and doing so he’s allowed to deport them since we’re at war, so even if the government was to shut down the kidnappings would continue.

It definitely hasn’t been brought to attention that democrats aren’t perfect. Forget that if the government did shut down the democrats would be blamed for that too since people would die that way too and all yall want to do is blame the democrats
