Georgia mail delivery is among the worst in the U.S. though it has improved from the tremendous dip following the 2024 opening of the regional processing center in Palmetto.

A USPS truck is entering the new regional processing and distribution center in Palmetto on May 8, 2025. Mail delivery rates in Georgia have improved since falling dramatically following the February 2024 opening of the regional processing and distribution center in Palmetto.
