No need to be rude about it. It’s not unreasonable to want a source to be included and not just a title. But thank you for sharing the link.

This is a mirror community of a subreddit. The posts from the subreddit are ‘mirrored’ here by being posted by a bot account.

Posting asking for a source on this community to a bot made post is basically saying you’re too lazy to follow the Source link to the subreddit or go look it up on your own.

No need for you to be entitled and expect another user to find something for you.

There is no link for me on mbin. I clicked. Nothing happens. This is fairly common.

              And?

It’s not unreasonable to want a source to be included and not just a title.

No, what is unreasonable is posting ‘Source?’ on a bot posting mirror community and then being so entitled to criticize someone for rudeness when they provided one because you’re too lazy and/or helpless to find it yourself.

Does mbin also break your ability to use a search engine or conduct simple problem solving?

                Wow, aren’t you pleasant.

Again, on mbin, there is no source shared. I had no way of knowing that there is a source. There’s nothing entitled about not being able to see something that people on another instance can.

There is value in sharing source material where multiple people can see it. I am not the only user of mbin.

You might want to consider why you feel so strongly about somebody asking a harmless question.

Tbh, I didn’t read that as rude. The follow-up was, though. lol

As others have mentioned or suggested, the reply wasn’t typed in a rude tone on purpose. I imagined myself saying that in a lighthearted tone.

But the second line can be construed as rude, depending on which side of the fascist fence you consider yourself on.
