The only thing that isn’t pretend about ICE is the bigotry and violence. I see no meaningful difference between these people and “actual ICE agents”.

Everybody pretends to be an ICE agent to steal or commit violence, it is an utterly illegitimate mob of thugs loyal to a dictator.
