Although with big names like Peter Dinklage, Kevin Bacon etc and Legendary Pictures on board, I’m not so sure if it qualifies as a B movie.
I saw and loved the original (and first sequel) as part of a Troma all-nighter at the Scala Cinema in London back in 88/89?
How do y’all feel about this remake?

Elijah Wood is a huge horror nerd and a little freak. I am so freaking excited for this movie, though I do think we need to stop letting Hollywood get away with forced over representation of little toxic freaks.
Checking out Troma’s YouTube channel reminded me of Troma’s Basement: a comic segment introducing a Troma film on the Bravo cable channel in the UK (different from the Bravo channel in the US IIRC) in the mid 90s. About as good as you can expect for a near-zero-budget mid-90s UK cable TV framing device.
