Homicide: 1050 Piedmont Ave. NE

Preliminary Release: On 7/8/25, around 5:35am, officers responded to a person stabbed at the location of 1050 Piedmont Ave. NE. Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim with a stab wound to the chest. EMS personnel arrived on scene and transported the victim to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
