Arrest Update: Fatal Stabbing: 1050 Piedmont Avenue NE

Arrest Update:On July 8th, 2025, 56-year-old Terry Parmer was charged by the Atlanta Police Department with Murder, Felony Murder, and Aggravated Assault for his involvement in a homicide that occurred at 1050 Piedmont Avenue NE on July 8th, 2025. Mr. Parmer was transported to the Fulton County Jail for processing.Previously Released:Preliminary Information: On July 8th, 2025, at approximately 5:44AM, officers responded to 1050 Piedmont Avenue NE in reference to a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located a 62-year-old male who sustained an apparent stab wound. The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
