Arsenal gave a tough battle until the final rounds last season but the luck just slipped away for them. Do you think this season will be the same and Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham will fight until the very last rounds? Or Man City will clearly win it? Do you see somebody else besides Man City winning it this year?

It’s man city until another team actually wins it. Arsenal didn’t bottle the title last year they were never going to win it. City are a win machine

The title race is still early to call. We will only know from April onwards. It’s tight right now; but we have 4 more months. Remember, Arsenal was going to win it until April 1st when everything came stumbling down.

Arsenal is completly out of their league, their performance is noway near their table position. They dont create, usually helping for the best and did not deserve to win like every second or third game they actually won. Liverpool has very small disbalanced squad.

    So no, actually.

Liverpool has very small disbalanced squad.

No clue what you’re talking about. We have arguably the best squad depth in the league.

      GK Alisson
      RB Alexander-Arnold
      CB Konate
      CB van Dijk
      LB Robertson
      DM Mac Allister
      CM Szoboszlai
      CM Jones
      RW Salah
      LW Diaz
      ST Nunez

      GK Kelleher
      RB Gomez
      CB Matip
      CB Quansah
      LB Tsimikas
      DM Endo
      CM Thiago
      CM Gravenberch
      RW Elliott
      LW Jota
      ST Gakpo

Well I am talking about small imbalanced Liverpool squad. And you proved me completly right, so not only you know what I am talking about, but you also know I am right.

City to win it again, boring really.

Arsenal & Liverpool not on the same level in my opinion, Spurs not really in the conversation over a full season (Maddison injury etc).

Could easily be Man City, Arsenal or Liverpool. Think it’ll go down to the wire again, really looking forward to it as a neutral!

Luck? City won a fucking treble. We dropped crucial points against Southampton & West Ham, that cost us the season

Yeah this. Fully agree with you, Arsenal bottled the league. Just as they bottled 4th the previous season. City don’t need luck if Arsenal spend 90% of the season on top, you know they’ll crumble as long as City were in touching distance it was always going to be theirs.

Arsenal and Liverpool are still in the race and I’d expect one of them to still be in the hunt around April. Villa and Newcastle will be likely competing for the last top 4 spot rather than mounting anything more at this point. Chelsea might turn a corner but they’ve fallen too far behind but who knows (and I mean turn a corner to compete for Europe, not the title)

As a Liverpool fan I can’t believe we’re only a point behind with no real CDM in most games.

John Stones has been out a large portion of the season and KDB is yet to return. What City actually look like and how they’ll attack the league won’t be fully known until after Christmas. The next few games will be interesting.

City will win it, plus they’ll win it for the next five years.

They’ve already got the best players, plus even if they don’t they can afford to buy the best. Other teams only have the illusion of winning. Arsenal and Liverpool are top, top sides but lack the 1% difference to get over the line.

Pains me to say it, but they’re playing on easy mode at the minute. As a United fan I can’t see us winning the title for at least 5-10 years.

I’m not enjoying City dominating as much as the next guy. There’s just an inevitability about them winning as a team right now.

Depends if Guardiola is there the next 5 years otherwise there’ll be a drop off. Quite a few of the core group are already a bit older and struggling to keep up physically with de Bruyne at the point of being a part timer now.

Think ultimately it comes down to squad depth. City have a depth of squad that other teams literally cannot afford. In a 38 game season, with other competitions to play in, that depth is what decides titles. City are absolutely favorites due to that fact, but I think only Arsenal have a depth that could match them (and that’s still a long shot).
