Does the rest of Europe and the world dislike international breaks as much as we do in England ?

I was having this discussion with friends and I think it directly correlates with the quality of the league of your country.

For example Spain England Germany will dislike them as they would prefer to see their clubs playing , but for Croatia their national team is better than their club teams so they enjoy it.

I could be totally wrong so please let me know !

    International breaks seem to always match up with long weeks where the inconveniences pile up. Car needs service, sink breaks, sick child, work is a pain, plans fall through, etc. So yeah, I hate them passionately.

      Huh. That’s interesting. Same have. Car is getting a new transmission on Thursday.

          You surviving the break so far? Any catastrophe yet? Just got my car back from the shop (the aforementioned new transmission). Just waiting for my pipes to burst, or a dog needing to go to the vet.
