First time I watched it I was positive that Rust was going to give them that same speech he does, and then the others walk away and Rust looks up into the night sky and he can see that spiral vortex that he saw in Carcosa, filling the heavens and reflected in his eyes.
Season 1 of that show set an insanely high bar, it’s pretty close to perfect television. I try to avoid comparisons for that reason.
Except for the ending.
