Some news sources have taken to producing articles that are essentially drawn out virtue signalling tweets. I’m guessing because they are often met with a positive reception on Twitter, as well as a lot of head nodding and smug knowing looks.
It’s moral grandstanding without an ounce of actual conviction and, ultimately, click bait.
And yet I’ve somehow heard about it a hundred times in 2 days from the media.
