The absurdity of a post wishing the admins of lemmy.world a good US holiday mildly amuses me.
I think we all need to just start flooding us based sites with well wishes surrounding all our local and regional holidays. You never see a Chinese new year posts crack the main page on reddit
Well, I’d go with some countries that are less well-known to Americans just for the awareness-broadening opportunity, but whatever works to drill it into their thick heads that they’re not the center of the universe (and I say that as one of them… technically).
Hey I am always open for more holidays. Anyone;s you had in mind?
