Given that Everton have had a 10 point deduction, it is only a matter of time before Man City, Chelsea or Newcastle will get points deductions/potential relegation.

This could lead to following things:

- Big players, from these clubs e.g. Haaland, De Bruyne, Guimaraes will leave and would likely join teams from abroad.

- Likes of La Liga or Serie A chairman will be in UEFA’s ear about this, potentiall causing them to ban English Teams

- The PL will be seen by many as a corrupt league like Serie A in mid 2000’s and will have a knock on affect in which players may choose to sign for clubs like AC Milan or Bayern Munich ahead of English teams.

I’m not a Newcastle fan, but the hate they get is truly pathetic. Their mega rich owners have done nothing so far except make shrewd signings perfectly in line with the rules, while putting faith in a manager many people wrote off (for some reason) in Eddie Howe, and many of the pre-takeover players who were previously deemed not good enough for the Premier League. Honestly, I think there’s a huge amount of jealousy towards Newcastle from rival fans, and it’s embarrassing.
