Their mega rich owners have done nothing so far except make shrewd signings perfectly in line with the rules, while putting faith in a manager many people wrote off (for some reason) in Eddie Howe, and many of the pre-takeover players who were previously deemed not good enough for the Premier League. Honestly, I think there’s a huge amount of jealousy towards Newcastle from rival fans, and it’s embarrassing.
