I know, it’s not a rule to not make political memes… but could we all please stop putting political messages in every second meme?

Honestly, it gets a bit annoying after a while and I don’t think it’s something we should do for a possible new home for people who seek alternatives to Reddit.

Thank you

Personally, a post expressing displeasure about what others are posting rings a bit hollow when it comes from an account that has been around for months but has not posted or commented anything prior to this.

Please improve your efforts to entertain me…

What have you brought to the table?

Haha. Actually true. I was venting as well.

What I’m referring to tho is that every time I take a look at this channel, I see these “memes” that are just political statements.

And they’re not even presented in a tasteful way. Like being edutainment (educate and entertain) not just a “I feel angry right now, or let me point out something bad, or give me goodboy points my tribe I destroyed the other side!”

I can’t interact with politics in a level-headed way, I just word-blocked the current incident and all the politics servers. It sucks not to know what’s going on but I can’t trust myself, I’ll just get emotional and make a fool of myself. Political memes that don’t use any of those words directly still come up, but at least it’s less.

Hmmm… this gives me an idea… OCR image-text filtering. I know apple has a powerful on-device api for it. I wonder if google does too.
