@Maeve @WabePoliticsNewsBot Certainly. All the time, I’m sure. But the fact that Trump is a narcissist and a liar was clear well before she decided to join the cult. And she was all in on the conspiracies of the day. I’m happy to see integrity, but that doesn’t mean I forget what went before.
No one is asking you to forget. One asks you to consider multigenerational traumas and upbringing, multigenerational programming, and to celebrate what may seem “insignificant” wins where and when they come, and rather than constantly harping on past error and shaming, recognize how huge this could possibly be and gently guide and encourage other potential wins in people’s development…or continue harping and blaming and push them back to the accepted comfort of their former ingroups, which will require the penance of doubling down on hatefulness.
In that this is just another potential grift angle, harness and direct the energy to further a better message and cause.
