Beltline seeks builder for neighborhood-connecting trail, key bridge Josh GreenWed, 02/18/2026 - 19:17Atlanta Beltline Inc.’s efforts to weave a trail from neighborhoods near Atlantic Station up into Buckhead have officially kicked off. Beltline construction officials last week opened an Invitation to Bid that seeks firms qualified to build the remaining section of Northwest Trail—Segment 3. It will link Berkeley Park in the south to Loring Heights, Brookwood, Ardmore, and Collier Hills neighborhoods.All bids are due March 19. The one-mile segment, 3B, will start where the trail currently ends at Northside Drive and extend over that busy roadway—via a pedestrian bridge that looks more sophisticated than earlier designs.   Looking south toward downtown, revised plans for a Beltline Northwest Trail—Segment 3 bridge spanning Northside Drive.
