Not a big enough upgrade. Considering the areas of the squad we need to strengthen, a goalkeeper will not be a priority, especially not one who’s barely better than Pope.
In the summer we will have around 400m in headroom for FFP, so either buy in summer or loan to buy would be fine for him. He will be what 25 in the summer so the faster he gets his confidence up and integrated it would be important.

Outside of the Premier League there are probably only two clubs that could afford him. The English market is nuts. And he won’t want to play for a club smaller than Arsenal - so this could be interesting.

Now that defense is even better because Raya is a MUCH safer outlet and a much better ball handler, and a better passer, and a better shot stopper. I mean just look at the stats it’s literally not close. Love Aaron, hope he improves, but him, Nketiah, and Partey are easily our most sellable assets

He’s not 4th choice in any reality unless he keeps warming the bench until the summer. He’s 2nd choice now and would realistically still be there in January when we can sell
No way. There’s a lot of good keepers around and not a lot of big teams needing one. And Arsenal doesn’t have a lot of leverage with him being a clear second choice. I don’t think of any keeper that went for more than €30m in the past five years other than Onana.

I’d like to keep him but he’s truthfully just losing value now. Frozen on the bench, bag of nerves when he does finally get to play. Family members beginning to kick off in the media.
It will likely only get worse before it gets better.
If rather have whichever keeper is not gonna be our number one leave in Jan. Get a real number 2 as a replacement. Both are too good to be benched for the entire back end of the season and it is a massive disservice to Ramsdale to stop him from playing imo.
If the right bid comes in and we can identify a good backup option in January it’s more likely than you think.
