Brookhaven’s ‘Valemont’ project officially a go near Buford HighwayJosh GreenTue, 03/03/2026 - 14:43Plans are coming into sharper focus for a Brookhaven project that aims to boost for-sale housing options while capitalizing on walkability to Buford Highway eats and other area attractions. The Valemont Brookhaven development (formerly called Drew Valley Townhomes) is underway at 2798 Drew Valley Road NE, tucked off Buford Highway. Plans call for 43 townhomes in five separate buildings, priced from the $600,000s, to represent “a new chapter” in Drew Valley, which is described by the development team as “one of Brookhaven’s most dynamic neighborhoods” in a project update today.  altStreet view and planned walkability at Valemont Brookhaven. It’s also just south of a 167-townhome community called Skyland that sold out during the waning days of the COVID-19 pandemic.  A low-rise, 1960s rental community called Drew Valley Apartments has long occupied the site in question. Experienced Atlanta builders Mile Post Development and Harrison Homes have partnered on the Valemont project, which is aiming for “timeless architecture, elevated finishes, and an effortless, metropolitan lifestyle,” per marketing materials.  The multi-level units will range from 1,844 up to 2,376 square feet, with either three or four bedrooms. All six floorplans will come with two-car garages. Beyond Buford Highway dining, Brookhaven’s shopping and restaurant scene along Dresden Drive is also cited as a nearby perk. altOverview of five-building layout plans at Valemont Brookhaven.
