Townhomes from $330Ks bound for former Atlanta strip mall site Josh GreenFri, 03/06/2026 - 16:23The next phase of site redevelopment is coming into clearer focus where a sprawling southeast Atlanta shopping center operated for decades. A new for-sale townhome project called Array is dangling relatively low prices (by today’s intown standards, at least) and promising quick access to numerous ITP draws, including the Beltline’s forthcoming Southside Trail sections. Current prices start in the $330,000s at Array, which marks another intown venture from Peachtree Corners-based McKinley Homes, the developer behind the Seven88 West Midtown tower. Situated south of East Atlanta Village, the 32-acre site was formerly home to a 1960s-era, suburban-style shopping center called Moreland Plaza, which was bulldozed three years ago. McKinley HomesDevelopers have said the overall project, Moreland & Custer, calls for nearly 700 housing units total, 14 freestanding buildings, a network of connected greenspaces, a corner building for retail, and a creek-side park. The Array townhomes will be situated along a northern section of the site.
