I have less sympathy for the conned after their 50th “Fell For It Again” award
I don’t have much sympathy in my heart for them, but they aren’t going anywhere, and sympathy will pull more of them out of the bubble than contempt will.
It may depend on whether or not that contempt is made of lead.
Yea, so in Tehran they have a fountain dyed red to commemorate the busses full of teenage boys they sent to the front lines against Iraq with suicide bombs strapped to them. Land troops in Iran will result in untold levels of bloodshed.
The 2003 Iraq invasion and subsequent occupation resulted in somewhere between 151,000 and and 601,000 deaths.
An invasion and occupation of Iran will be orders of magnitude bloodier for both US forces and Iranian civilians.
Will US troops be stupid enough to get themselves killed over this blatantly ridiculous war? Emphatically yes!
