Through transitive property, a happy plate is a happy person (and pets of they’re present and allowed table food).

Thus a full plate is a happy us!

    Win win!

Actually, those are fava beans ! They look similar but they are more mild and nutty than edamame ;)

Edamame beans. Super tasty. Not pasty like beans, but crunchy.

Ohh! Honestly? Wow! They look like edamame beans! Like, almost identical! That’s so neat.

What do they taste like? Their texture? Are they like edamame?

They go well with long pig liver and a nice Chianti

They’re more lean so they are a bit more muted than edamame, but the texture is quite similar (if a bit less "snappy) and the flavour profile a slightly nuttyer. Overall, they are quite similar, but they are easier to find near me ;)

I was wondering if that was what they were but I’ve never seen them sprouted before.

They can get that way. They’re still good sprouted!

Potatoes, egg, bacon (?), and cheese… Yum.

On first glance, I thought it was thin slices of spam on top. I’ll take either. Did you use any sauces, or was it delicious as it was?

The slices on top are parmesan “chips”. As for the sauce, i used a genrous amount of butter while pan frying the potatoed, so i didn’t feel like it was necessary ;)
