I bought my rifle on election day between Biden and Trump because I was worried about a second Trump term. I had a modicum of firearm familiarity at that point, knew safety and self defense primarily. Operation was general knowledge. The AR-15 platform has endless resources online on how to use it, issues you might run into, care, modifications. I don’t know how great it’d be for a first time firearm owner but it was easy for me to find resources and learn. I just need more range time but I operate in Trumpistan so I get nervous.

Would you recommend as well a pistol in a 9mm and a 12 gauge shotguns as additional tools for one’s use? Mostly because those seem to be more common, proliferate calibers. A rifle is not always appropriate for some situations.

Interesting is the idea that a lot of conservative people sign up for the military and those that stay in longer typically become less conservative. While those who just do their 2 and done are still worthless CHUDs. I don’t know if it’s a widespread phenomena but I’ve heard of a lot of spec ops guys who go in and come out being progressives at least.

Yeah, physical issues on micro devices is a hard cap. I read someone believing we’ll make things bigger, not by a lot, but to allot more space to reach greater speeds. So don’t expect the old Pentium 1/2 big chip designs but more just being 25% increase in size of the chip. This might not have an effect on circuit boards but don’t be surprised to see them getting a bit larger to compensate as well.

I wonder why these companies wouldn’t want to go to discovery and further with such cases. Surely to have a clear, clean name they’d take these to the end showing they were not liable. It’s a read between the lines scenario, they’re afraid of discovery for some reason so don’t want it to happen.

This settlement pretty much confirms it for me. If they did nothing wrong, why didn’t they go all the way with it to prove these devices are not spying on you?
