I didn’t think you were talking about Ramsdale, Raya and Arteta because none of that first paragraph applies to them…

Becoming a pattern that you can’t get more than a few sentences into a conversation about City before one of the people exposes that they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Ederson - was clearly injured against Chelsea, and why send him across the world to recover when he’s not going to play for Brazil anyway? Ake and Gomez - injured long before the international break so not relevant at all Haaland - played in the first game and clearly did something to his ankle, only missed the second because it was meaningless and you’d be crazy to risk a player with a knock in a dead rubber (this is true of all teams and managers and always has been) Rodri - played pretty much the full game against Georgia, coming off with less than 10 mins to go. His injury concern happened after that game and the post is only to reassure City fans that he’s OK.
Can you sincerely argue that paying Mancini a bit off the books is worthy of relegation?
Most of City’s charges would be punishable by a fine at best even if proven, and if UEFA couldn’t prove it I don’t see how the Premier League will.
It’s not up the Premier League anymore… and if the Premier League didn’t want City found guilty and punished, they didn’t need to charge us at all. Especially of crimes we’d already been cleared of.
Pep was extremely generous with Palmer’s minutes, Palmer just wasn’t good enough in those minutes.
There was that famous interview after he scored in the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup when he said ‘Prem soon come’ (rough translation: “my first goal in the Premier League will come soon”).
And that was two years ago. We kept waiting for him to step up in the league and he wasn’t showing the required level. Even now he’s never scored a league goal from open play, so I think it’s far too soon to suggest he’ll make us regret letting him go.
Burnley’s fixture list has been shocking, there aren’t that many games in that schedule you’d have given them a prayer of winning before kick off. I didn’t realise how abysmal their squad was before this season.
