I broke my back in 2021. I can put in 4 hours of Labor harder than most people my age can even dream of. But I’m going to pay for it. Today I put in 4 hours helping a friend move from a second story to a first story. I literally ran circles around people half my age and did all the heavy lifting. I keep going until it hurts and then a little bit more because if I don’t then I’m going to create long-term problems. Things like this are physical therapy.

My pizza stone hasn’t been in my budget ever. But I did end up with an extra 12-in cast iron skillet. I put that in the oven when I preheat. I can’t cook the pizza on it because repeated bakings has removed all the cure. But it definitely acts as a good heat battery. I tried finding a good lead detection stick to see if I could test some terracotta tiles but I couldn’t find one on Amazon with a good enough rating.

I couldn’t get a good pic of both and was in a lot of pain when I stitched them together.

I thought about red pepper but remembered I had jalapenos. The cotija is almost the same as parm but a lot less money.
