Yeah I’ve been using wireguard for a long time myself personally, and more recently for a small team to access an intranet.

I’m a big fan. After a half hour or so trying to understand configs it’s pretty manageable.

For most of human history people who couldn’t do math, or read, or understand a map, have been communicating directions to each other.

This. A cast iron pan just stores so much more heat than anything else. IDK the sciency chef-talk but if you like meat to look crusty and golden on the outside but tender on the inside then this is the way.

I basically just completely disregard any bullshit “seasoning” advice, and I’ve never had any rust or whatever. I don’t scrub it with steel wool or whatever but I don’t scrub anything with that. Sometimes I put a few cm of water in it and let that boil off any crusted on whatever.

It empowers parents to set and maintain appropriate boundaries without being influenced by what other parents allow their kids to do. Its a lot easier to maintain a “no social media” rule if other parents are doing the same.

Also I dont really have any faith at all in the young teenagers of today being able to circumvent anything. Sure. A few will… but certainly not most or even a significant portion.

Don’t focus on getting more users. Focus on making the content here the best it can be.

The pitch of the roof and the position of the doors makes it look like the outside of the room with the night stands in-front of the doors. It looks like they could be used as a kind of pavillion during outdoor events, like a place to serve snacks and drinks.

I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions about the steel bars blocking those doors from the outside. You can see them horizontally across the two doors on the left, and there’s one propped against the wall next to the door on the right.

Sorry Americans, I usually try not to point out the absurdity of your politics just because I don’t want to be an ass but having a president name some kind of investment account for kids after himself is some real next level stuff.

Maybe everyone already knows this but you can generally see better in your peripheral vision in low light.

Almost all of your color vision / cones are concentrated in a tiny central area of your retina.

The grey scale / rods are dispersed around that.

In some ways I think night vision is a kind of skill that some people might be better at than others, even if the mechanics of their eyes aren’t special.
