  • Nah its not the officials either its the actual rules of football. Far too many vague rules that can be interpreted differently to other people. Football really needs to get far better terminology in the rules and take away subjective much as possible. Like the joelinton foul last week I think it should go something like this. Did he put hands on opponents? Yes. did he impede or prevent opponent from getting the ball? Yes. Did his action effect the situation? Yes. Did he use too much force? Yes. So from that I can only take that to be a foul so moving forward we know that is a foul and why it’s a foul. Follow this process or similar each time and we will start getting more consistent decisions given. At the moment refs basically just make up there mind as they go along and 1 red will think it’s a foul and the other won’t. Football needs to change to rules so that there is simply no debating things like putting 2 hands on a defenders neck in his 6 yard box. I mean it’s so obvious that it’s a foul yet actual professionals in the world of football somehow think its OK to do this.
