Having not watched Picard, my head canon will be he maintained a relationship with Sonya, the nerdy Ensign who spilled her Hot Chocolate all over Picard.
Poor Sonya Gomez. She can grow to be the badass captain of an Obena-class cruiser and slated to go on first contact missions, but that’s not how we remember her.

The first two seasons were so-so, but Season 3 was basically a TNG reunion complete with the Enterprise D, so it was lots of fun.
I think there is a reference to a third kid who we don’t see on screen.
Why would it be hard to picture him having sex with a woman?
