That’s pretty low for an ambulance ride in the stupidest fucking country, tbh. Probably the actual bill after her insurance company “paid” for $3600 of it.
This is the scam of health “insurance” in America: you get a bill that’s stupid. Like “on a different planet” stupid. Your insurance colludes with the hospital to pay none of it (but tell you they did) and you get to pay the actual balance. The actual balance is also stupid, but just ordinary stupid.
