    In a joint statement with Thad Westbrook, chairman of the university’s Board of Trustees, Amiridis said the school is “steadfast in safeguarding the First Amendment rights of our students, even when we may be offended by their choices and statements.”

    Yeah… so…. When asshole racists who want to bring back slavery do their thing, it’s “we protect their first amendment rights”, but when it’s people being like “genocide is bad”, it’s “antisemitic riots can’t be tolerated”?

      and if someone came there speaking against Trump, there’d be bomb threats, and people with tiki torches out front wearing hoods and chanting “they will not replace us”

      Sounds a hell of a lot like Thad is, in the absolute best case, intentionally ignoring the paradox of tolerance. And I’m fairly confident this is not the absolute best case.
