    MTG and several other Republicans have admitted to not reading the entire bill, so Schumer is forcing them to sit through a 10+ hour complete reading of every provision before the vote. That way, they have no defense to their constituents once they vote to cut their social programs.

    Well, except “fuck you, got mine” Murkowski. She can rot in hell.

        That’s fine. It’s on the calendar. Not reading it is one thing. Choosing to not attend a scheduled congressional meeting means they voluntarily abstained from learning about a bill right before the vote. They can’t say they didn’t have the time.

        They just finished after twelve hours, and have now moved onto debates. Democrats will be debating every provision a second time, after already having done it in four 24+ hour long oversight committee hearings.
