Honestly I’m not surprised at all. Chelsea are nothing but a bunch of fucking cheats who bought all their trophies with dodgy oligarch money. Chelsea are a club I would love to see liquidated. Fuck Chelsea and their fans who are a bunch of cunts.

I remember there being a documentary about how dodgy he was, and how he used to help Putin do his accounts and had friends who were in the Bravta in around 2010 and nobody cared. This information was widely known for over a decade and only now they are pushing back on him.

I will be honest, I suspected this was happening and its a huge part of why I love Roman. Whatever happens, I will always have the great memories.

5 Premier League titles, 2 UCLs, 5 FA cups, 2 Europa leagues and 3 energy drink cups.

Memories are priceless. Great moments no matter what happens.

I think rational City fans feel the same way.

I hate FFP, so I’m just here spectating at this point. Personally, my belief is that owners should have to put up the fees/guarantee things like transfer fees on the spot, ala put $100 million for a player in a special account, so that the argument of “spending beyond your means” doesn’t happen because you have to prove you have the means to amortize on the spot before buying the player

Ownership Investment shouldn’t be determining factor in this though. We shouldn’t be reliant on outsiders propping up our clubs, they need to be sustainable in their own right.

Clubs need to create and sustain legitimate revenue streams and that is where the majority of transfers should be coming from. Extra OI should be a flat cap across the league so that Bournemouth’s owners could personally spend the same as City’s owners of say £50m per year. The real issue is the creation of false sponsorships, above market value, that are essentially ownership investment in disguise.

At birth, success is being alive. At age 3, success is not pooping your pants. At age 10, success is having friends. At age 16, success is having a driver’s license. At age 20, success is having sex. At age 30, success is having money… At age 40, success is having money.

At age 55, success is having sex.

At age 70, success is having a driver’s license.

At age 75, success is having friends.

At age 80, success is not pooping your pants.

At age 100, success is being alive.

These allegations are at least as serious as City’s 115 if not more by the way.

They’re being accused of systemic and deliberate financial irregularity. Their new owners have already admitted/exposed misreporting under Roman (and they were fined by UEFA this year) but remains to be seen whether even they were aware of this.

Chelsea got their money from a Putin sanctioned Russia oligarch. That’s about the dirtiest, bloodiest money in the world. The whole club should be utterly ashamed of taking that money. Absolutely vile club.

its crazy how the whole football world can watch something obviously happening and then 20 years later the powers that be realise that something happened.

(something being massive amounts of money laundering/corruption/fraud)

Simply because it is now talked about doesn’t mean people weren’t aware it was happening. Think Jimmy Savile. To say many (premier league, Chelsea) stood idly by while reaping the rewards while turning a blind eye to the origin of the funds is more like it.

New owners have to report potential breaches of the law, or they could be liable. Fault lies with the FA that judged Roman fit and proper to own Chelsea in the first place.

Example of how this directly affected competition is the Willian transfer, he was all set to sign for Tottenham but abramovich essentially paid his agent a massive bung for him to dump spurs and sign with Chelsea. If Chelsea were ran off their own steam, like a proper football club, they wouldn’t even be in the conversation in the first place.

How on earth could you possibly know that?

The season before Roman Chelsea finished 17 points above Spurs and in a Champions League position.

This narrative Chelsea came from league 2 under Roman is lazy and reductive.

Infact the last time before Roman Spurs finished above Chelsea was 1996.

Most of the seasons since Fergie left would end up going to Arsenal and Liverpool rather than Man Utd. Theres only 2 times you’ve come 2nd since.

I should probably clarify that I mean generally Liverpool and Arsenal have finished higher than Man Utd. If we really broke it down Spurs would also have a title. Its obviously not going to happen though so Spurs can dream on with their dusty cabinet.
