Cos the punishment was too harsh for the conduct. Simple as really
I do think people are going overboard by pretending Everton didn’t break rules that they signed up to. But 10 points is a lot for what they did

The way this sub creatively finds another thing to complain about City is remarkable
With some of the posts the mods on here have deleted it’s pretty offensive that this one is allowed to stay
Why aren’t they getting a points deduction? If guilty it’ll be fairly easy to prove they gained a sporting advantage which would result in a sporting sanction according to the Everton precedent.
50 points* since City were charged with breaking 5 rules
Not likely. Very tough to prove causation
Nah the most recent leaks are far more damning and weren’t self reported. The fact that your ownership have already admitted financial irregularities might not help your case ultimately
Being charged with serious allegations of financial crime = special treatment
Some of the shit I read on this sub man. Rocks for brains
I’m always amused by the fact that people think practically all PL clubs can’t afford the best lawyers in existence
These allegations are at least as serious as City’s 115 if not more by the way.
They’re being accused of systemic and deliberate financial irregularity. Their new owners have already admitted/exposed misreporting under Roman (and they were fined by UEFA this year) but remains to be seen whether even they were aware of this.
Guessing nobody has actually bothered to read the reports huh. Not what we do on Reddit is it
I love when people say ‘matter of fact’ then follow with a lie
Not a word about how Cucarella avoids a second yellow for clear simulation or how Dias gets the ball first for the penalty
The bias on Reddit forums is insane
Nobody is going to like or agree with my comment but part of it really is because he plays for City.
The narrative around our club, manager & playing staff included, just isn’t very positive across the general public.
Plus our fanbase obviously isn’t as big as Liverpool or United’s, and even if it was we’re pretty self-deprecating compared to others.
I’ve no doubt the hype around him would increase tenfold if he played for United or Real Madrid for example.
Not a loaded headline whatsoever
