Totally Football for me is the best. Can actually get some insight rather than ‘they didn’t look up for it’ type analysis.
‘The rest is football’ its the only one thats funny interesting and not absolutely biased. Its got Shearer, Lineker and Micah Richards in, absolutely hilarious at times seems strange to hear them swearing though after watching them on motd for years.
How in the world have you had time to listen to every other football podcast? I listen to one every couple weeks if I’m lucky lol
Second Captains do a free football recap of a Monday.
It’s a paid for podcast after that.
Usually have the likes of Jonathan Wilson on to recap the weekend’s action.
Can be 90 mins on occasion but is largely entertaining and a staple listen post weekend.
The Football Ramble. Total Football. Guardian football.
SDS and Football Ramble are my top two.
I listen to Totally Football and Guardian Football Weekly as I just crave football content, but imo they aren’t as good and feel very sterile to me.
I’ve been thinking of starting a premier league centric one with a friend of mine, but do people think it would be weird to do it mid season?
Ben foster - fozcast, usually a recap of the premier league games once a week. Good insight and entertaining.
Football Ramble is my most consistent listen. Mostly reasonable with a good number of laughs.
As an Arsenal fan, I do think that Andy Brassell has an obvious bias against them for some reason, so I sometimes don’t listen when he’s on.
All the others are biased as well to a degree based on their teams, but they’re up front about it. Andy does not.
But it’s still the best podcast on the subject for me.
