Meh I wouldn’t say most peoples really, I think most football fans over say 25 would appreciate the reasons for the move. I love seeing players turn down the money to play in top leagues instead as much as the next guy but it’s a career at the end of the day and a short one at that.

Well they are always gonna say when asked they don’t want to punish the fans I’m sure if you asked them now they would say the same thing.
The fans are just collateral unfortunately, you can’t just keep making this argument as every club has fans and can just make the same argument, like I said before long gone are the days of it being their club, its just a business nowadays.

But it’s not the fans club or the players club or the managers club unfortunately, it’s the owners club. I feel bad for the fans yes but this can’t be the argument against otherwise this could just be the argument everytime, the days of fans players or managers really having anything to do with their club at the top level are long gone unfortunately.
I don’t think you can blame the fans with Tottenham, they are okay compared to Arsenal United Liverpool really. Its more just banter rather than hate and Spurs as a club just manage to fumble their way into more hilarious things consistently for other fans to take the piss out of them for.
Nah they don’t really get hate as such more just taking the piss, they don’t help themselves a lot of the time either tbf.
Meh realistically no there is way too much reputation and money at risk for the pl. Its absolutely awful and if they are guilty then I wish they would just throw the book at them or any team that does but it won’t unfortunately. Also the rule breaches are just financial aren’t they so nowhere near as bad as Juventus or most other Serie A teams have had in the past.
Obviously agree about the point of offside, but don’t get how you think it will stop the ridiculous mm offsides? Really not a fan tbh I get that there would be more goals initially but long term I don’t think the game would improve as it would just encourage defending very deep.
Tbf they are actually lucky in a way that its come this season, this has been hanging over them for a while and any other season this will have relegated them without doubt but with the strength of the bottom 3 this year they have a decent chance.
