He’s been crap every time he played against us for Chelsea. I just hope somebody’s explained to him what “shit Coloccini” means!

Michael Owen was the worse signing we ever made
I was genuinely excited when we signed him - a properly world class player. And he wasn’t bad when he was fit and could be arsed, but there were so many times he didn’t want to play, clearly didn’t want to be here, and disrupted the dressing room so badly - I still think he deserves a lion share of the blame for our relegation
Patrick Kluivert was also a disappointment- though it wasn’t really his fault he was well past his best when we signed him, and at least he tried
Already got to go to a 12:30 match on Boxing Day because of the fucking TV companies.
You can fuck right off with your suggestion of even more disruption on a day with limited public transport for the sake of people who just want to sit on their arses in front of the box
He (alongside Demba Ba) was probably the best striker we had in the premier league between Alan Shearer and Callum Wilson (other candidates - Carroll, Toney, Mitrovic - weren’t with us long enough or went on to much greater success after leaving)
I don’t think it’s rose-tinted glasses to say that he was a good striker in a shite team.
As a Newcastle fan since the 80s, believe me when I say I have no rose-tinted memories of the period of Ashley’s ownership
He scored 13 goals in 13 starts for Newcastle that season and was a big part of why they finished 5th.
He continue scoring goals in a mediocre side for several years afterwards
He might not have been great by Chelsea’s lofty standards but he was hardly “bang average”…
That’s disgraceful - in my book that should have been a yellow for Joelinton (he shouldn’t have shoved back, no matter the provocation) and 2 yellows for the cheating twat De Paul - for the grabbing of Joelinton and then the blatant play acting of clutching his face
Well, that would be a reason right enough!
That said, we were told the clubs decided against fully automated offside because of the price but it’s used in European matches (I think?) so half the clubs probably have it anyway
Gutted for him - seems like a decent lad, although he did seem surprisingly easy to knock over when we played them the other week… looked like a stiff breeze was enough!
Hope he recovers quickly though - bit ridiculous that straight after making another bet with Callum Wilson they’re both immediately out injured
Can’t tell with 100% certainty from that angle. It looks out, but from behind the line it might look in
Dead along the line is going to be fucking close - maybe a millimetre or less.
As there’s no way to be certain, VAR should stick with the on-field decision.
(And I don’t see why we don’t have “goal line tech” around the whole pitch, tbh)
I’m not sure why Leicester would sue Everton - it’s not Everton’s fault it took this long for the penalty to be assessed.
If the Premier League had got this done in a sensible amount of time then Everton would have been relegated last season or the one before - so surely it would be the league itself that was culpable rather than Everton?
Example 1 was ridiculous- I’ll grant you that, it’s still going on a month later
I have seen that much about the Newcastle handball - there was a lot of (justifiable) outrage the next day but after that I haven’t seen much. And I watch all the Newcastle channels - we’ve moved on
Haven’t seen anything much about the City “advantage”, again even though I understand why they would be seriously pissed off
Basically, I think you’re watching too much social media (shrug)
