    Stainless steel? In these times? You would more likely get a brushed aluminium shell, filled with gravel. “Stainless Steel” would be the name of the model. It would break down after 13 months and You would have to buy a new one, while Your grandma would still have her stainless steel block from the 70s.

      Yeah, the base model is garbage, but if you spend a little extra for the Stainless Pro, you won’t regret it!

        But try not to get the Stainless Steel Connect. The App in the App Store is outdated and you can’t connect it to your WIFI anymore.

            yeah and if you don’t give it internet access it uses its little wheels to drive off the counter

      Back in the before times when home phones were still a thing I had this really nice cordless phone. It had this really nice balance and heft to it, felt really quality and I always remember feeling pretty good about it as a thing. Finally one day it died and I think I must have hoped to figure out what went wrong so I popped it open and realize it was like 2% technology, 23% empty space and the rest was just a solid piece of heavy rubber.
