Duh. That’s the point of all this nonsense. Or did people think that those “mass deportation now” signs were just a a joke?

Or that a complete jerkoff like Stephen Miller who has hated immigrants since he was practically a zygote was going to only get the “bad” ones?

Also, once they cannot find enough foreigners, it’s not like ICE is going to just disband or anything.

People keep telling me it’s overly dramatic but I’m going to keep calling this campaign an ethnic cleansing until proven otherwise.

Not only is that the effect of what is happening it is the stated intent. Whether they succeed or not, an ethnic cleansing is what they are trying to do and its what their voters wanted.

It’s probably the same gaslighting douchebags that were saying overturning Roe v Wade was “just” reverting the decision to the states and that calling them Gilead States was just overreacting and being hysterical, etc.

That’s the point of all this nonsense.

It makes the racists cheer and keep voting for those idiots, so they can keep up the grift. The stories about only targeting the “bad ones” was never more than a fig leaf until the discussion has moved so far to right-wing extremism (or censorship and persecution of diverging opinions is established well enough) that they can drop the act.

They’ve changed their tactics to draw less media attention, but Mullin has the same marching orders as Noem, with a huge and utterly arbitrary quota because Trump is both cruel and stupid.

66,000 people are now in ICE custody.

An entire city’s worth of people, the vast majority of whom have committed no crime save being born on the wrong side of the border, have had their lives broken and their future put into stasis.

66,000 families are wondering if their loved ones will ever go free. Wondering if they’re being beaten, starved, raped, or just disappeared. And in many cases, wondering where they are, because ICE has whisked them away and won’t reveal their location.

There is no justification for this cruelty, and there is no justice in a system that allows this inhumanity.

Until we stand up, disband ICE, prosecute and convict their leaders and agents for crimes against humanity, America will never be the land of the free.

Reminder that ICE agents are traitors to the United States of America that execute American citizens in the street 1,500 miles from the border.

Are the US citizens being swept up in this fascist crap being charged with crimes? If so, then every one arrested will end up being unable vote in the coming elections at the very least. I wonder if that might be part of the plan.
