I’ll probably check in again at 34 hours.

I was at a museum with my son when I saw the breaking news on my phone. I kept seeing people high five each other, and hugging each other, saying things like “He’s guilty!” or “They did it!”.

      Everyone was very happy/

Makes sense that the kind of people who would go to a museum (a real one, as opposed to BS like this) would react that way.

My son asks me that all the time (dinosaurs are his very favorite things).

I’d have to say either Allosaurus or Ankylosaurus, thought there are so many to pick from.

Utahraptor, Microraptor, Camarasaurus (I’ve seen lots of these)

              Edit: what’s yours?

So many cool ones to choose from, but I’m now 40something, and ever since I learned about Dinosaurs in the late 80’s, triceratops has always bee up there. My top 3 has changed a bit over the years, but the fact that triceratops has consistently been high up makes me conclude that I might as well consider that to be my favorite.

Besides, it’s like a Rhinoceros but with even more of the cool bits.

Archaeropteryx is also pretty cool if that counts.

But my favorite prehistoric being has to be the trilobite. Cambrian creatures are so fascinating.

Very happy, but sentencing matters. I’m still holding my breath

Yeah, it’s nice to know he’s officially a felon, but I get the feeling he won’t have any problems. He’s too well connected at this point, despite being an absolute dumpster fire of a human being that habitually shits on everyone that does anything for him whenever it favors him in the slightest.

I’m worried that even the most progressive judges in the country would not want to be the one that “messed up” and altered the outcome of a presidential election. It could possibly result in jan6.v2. It most certainly will result in death threats, and as seen with pelosi, even assassination attempts.

As such I’m expecting light sentencing so… The judge can say “justice was delivered” and the gop can say “charges shmarges, old news, go vote”.

        For those lacking critical thinking:

I am not suggesting I want trump to run, or win.

I am not saying trump is innocent or deserving of light sentencing.

I am not saying a federal judge gets to choose the easy route. They wear a big hat and have big responsibilities.

I am only pointing out imperfect actions of imperfect, fallible human actors.

As opposed to the Holocaust 2.0 that will result if the facsists aren’t punished for their crimes?

Donald Trump is a Toonforce user. He can do anything as long as it’s funny. (According to the universe’s sadistic sense of humour). It wasn’t funny for Trump to keep getting away with crimes anymore because we’ve already seen that too many times. But it would be funny if a convicted felon became president, so that’s what will happen.

I happened to go to my local news site and saw that the jury had come back. I didn’t want to listen to the reporters pontificate so I started playing a game, but I texted my friend to let her know. She was watching and texted me when it was four ‘guiltys’

Watching the numbers rise was a giddy experience.

My neighbor had his Trump float in his above-ground pool today. His two “Trump 2024” flags are flying proudly outside his front door. He sucks.
